Global Industry Partners

IMI’s reputation in the industry opens doors for our students. We have forged strong partnerships with leading hospitality companies and brands worldwide. These partners not only provide internships but also regularly recruit our graduates for full-time roles.

Marriott Hotels

Long-standing partnership with one of the world’s largest hotel chains. Every year, select IMI students intern at Marriott properties across Europe, Middle East, and Asia, and many alumni have joined Marriott’s management training programs. Marriott’s HR managers praise IMI interns for their professionalism and adaptability.

Hilton

IMI and Hilton have a shared commitment to talent development. Hilton offers our students internships in various departments – from front office in city hotels to F&B in resorts. Some IMI grads have even secured job offers from Hilton during their internships. Hilton continues to recruit IMI students because they arrive well-prepared and motivated.

Hyatt

Hyatt Hotels, with 1,000+ properties globally, partners with IMI to provide a wide platform for internships. Our students have interned at Park Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and Andaz locations worldwide. Hyatt values IMI’s personalized training approach – their HR notes that IMI students demonstrate empathy, leadership, and cultural intelligence.

Kempinski

As one of the oldest luxury hotel groups, Kempinski regularly hosts IMI interns at its five-star properties. They even actively recruit on campus because they know IMI graduates meet their high standards.

Viking Cruises

For those interested in cruise hospitality, our connections with Viking Cruises is a gateway. Students have interned onboard luxury cruise ships, taking on roles like guest services or F&B supervisors. Viking often hires IMI graduates because they are adaptable to the unique environment of a cruise, thanks to our emphasis on cultural agility.

The Living Circle

We collaborate with The Living Circle, a collection of exclusive Swiss hotels and resorts. This provides local internship opportunities in Switzerland’s premium hospitality sector – from the historic Widder Hotel in Zurich to a luxury resort in Ascona. Students not only gain experience but also understand how luxury and sustainability intertwine in these properties.

Academic Collaborations & Memberships

Degree Validation
Most IMI programmes are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) UK. This academic partnership ensures our curriculum meets rigorous international standards and our students graduate with dual recognition (Swiss and British degree credentials). MMU’s triple-accredited business school status lends further prestige and quality control to our courses.

We collaborate with a range of international schools and colleges through formal partnership agreements. Students from selected hospitality schools or polytechnics can continue their studies at IMI and receive credit for the courses they have already completed, based on agreed curriculum mapping.

IMI works closely with vetted educational agencies worldwide. These agents act as our local representatives, helping prospective students through the application process and ensuring only well-qualified, passionate students are referred to us. We consider these agencies as our partners in student success and regularly train them in our offerings.
IMI is an active member of global hospitality and education bodies such as EUHOFA International (association of hotel school directors) and CHME (Council for Hospitality Management Education). Through these memberships, we exchange best practices and contribute to the development of hospitality education globally.
Our partnerships extend to quality assurance organizations. Being certified by EduQua and ISO 9001 means we collaborate with these bodies to continuously improve and uphold standards. It’s a partnership in quality.
