BIG Week in Wonderland

28 August 2017

We followed the white rabbit down the hole for our 2017C BIG Week with a series of 'Alice in Wonderland' inspired events and activities...

“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.” Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

When a new student arrives at IMI, we like to think of it as day one of a new, exciting chapter of their life...

University study is hugely important for personal as well as professional development and, at IMI, this all starts with the first week of term - BIG Week.

To welcome our term 2017C students, we held an 'IMI in Wonderland' themed BIG Week as, like Alice, our students are setting off on a weird and wonderful journey that will, no doubt, help them grow and develop as individuals.

Special themed activities included the Luzern Wonderland Treasure Hunt, the BIG Movie Night and the Mad Hatter's BIG Dinner Party which featured a special molecular culinary demonstration from IMI's Chef Caine.

The week was a great way for our students to get to know their new surroundings and, also like Alice, we hope they have already met some fascinating characters and had some unforgettable experiences.

We look forward to a happy and successful term with both new and returning students and would like to thank all the staff and students who once again made BIG Week such a fun and enjoyable few days.
