Covering hospitality and management basics as well as university study skills, this certificate programme is designed for school leavers and, on completion, allows for direct entry onto any of our UK-accredited Bachelor’s programmes. A comprehensive curriculum – covering both practical and theoretical study units – prepares students to take on degree-level study.

This certificate programme is designed for high school leavers from Grade 10 level who are looking to pursue a BA (Hons) degree in hospitality, business or culinary management at IMI Switzerland.

    The main goal is to prepare students for Bachelor’s level study at IMI. The programme focuses on hospitality and management fundamentals, academic study skills, and English for university use. On successful completion, students can progress directly to one of IMI’s BA Hons degree programmes.

    No prior hospitality experience is required. The programme starts with fundamentals and is designed for students who are new to the industry.

    Applicants must have completed education equivalent to at least Grade 10. Academic documents, a copy of passport, CV, and proof of English level are required. Each application is reviewed individually.

    Yes. The programme is delivered in English. Applicants must be able to study and communicate effectively in English, but different English qualifications are accepted. Dualingo test is not accepted.

    Visa requirements depend on nationality. IMI provides guidance and documentation support throughout the visa application process.
