Students discover Switzerland beyond the classroom. From guided city walks to iconic alpine excursions, they see how Swiss culture, nature, and daily life come together. These trips are designed to be active but not rushed, giving time to observe, take photos, and truly experience the places.
Students learn how Swiss traditions are shaped by quality, precision, and local craftsmanship. These visits are interactive and sensory. They taste, ask questions, and connect theory with real life production.
Nature is a central part of Swiss life. Students explore it in a relaxed and accessible way, combining learning with outdoor movement. These activities balance busy days and help students reset and connect with each other.
All activities are planned and supervised. Transport, tickets, and timing are organised so students can focus on the experience, not logistics. Staff are present during excursions and remain available throughout the programme.
The all inclusive structure means there are no hidden or unexpected costs during the programme. Accommodation, meals, academic sessions, travel, and activities are planned and covered in advance, offering clarity for students and peace of mind for families.

By the end of this programme, you will be able to:
Describe the leading trends in International Hospitality, Business and Culinary Management.
Collaborate in a team and apply critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills to create a group project.
Connect with peers from around the world at our multicultural campus.

Upon completion, participants receive an official IMI Summer Programme Certificate. This certificate highlights their academic engagement and international experience at a Swiss hospitality school and can be a valuable addition to future university applications, CVs, and personal portfolios.

Candidates who successfully complete the IMI Switzerland Summer Programme will receive a scholarship equivalent to the programme costs against the tuition fees of a 22-week IMI study programme.
