Admission Process

01. Collect the Required Documents

Before you start your application, please make sure that these documents are ready:

1. Signed Application Form (Download Here)

2. Scanned Passport Copy

3. Academic Transcripts

4. Proof of English Proficiency

5. Motivation Letter

Once your documents are ready, proceed with the next step.

Complete the online application form on our website and upload the required documents for your student: academic transcripts, passport copy, motivation letter, and an English language certificate.

Once the application is submitted, our academic team will review all documents. If any details are missing or clarification is required, we will contact you to request the additional information needed to complete the evaluation.

Upon successful evaluation, we will issue a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) outlining the student’s study programme, tuition fees, and payment deadlines. This confirms the student’s acceptance to IMI, but please note that the LOA alone is not sufficient for a visa application. Further documents will be required during the visa process.

To secure the student’s place at IMI, the registration fee outlined in the LoA must be paid. Once the payment is received, we will issue the official Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), which is required for the student’s visa application.

Apply for the Swiss student visa through the local Swiss Embassy or Consulate. Processing times usually range from 6 to 12 weeks. IMI will provide all required documents and guidance to support you and your student throughout the visa application.

Before the student arrives at IMI, the first tuition fee instalment must be paid as stated in the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). This payment confirms the student’s commitment to start their studies and enables us to complete enrolment, secure accommodation, and prepare for their arrival. Once the instalment has been received, the student is fully cleared to join IMI on campus.

Once all payments and visa steps are completed, the student can arrange their travel and prepare for arrival on campus. From the first day at IMI, they join a supportive community ready to guide them through their academic journey.

The remaining tuition and accommodation fees must be paid according to the deadlines stated in the CoE. This final instalment is settled after the student arrives on campus and completes the check in procedures.
