TESTIMONIALS

"Studying at IMI was a remarkable experience!"

Nishan Silva

from Sri Lanka , graduated in 1992

My time at IMI was a remarkable experience, both academically and socially, as I met students from many different countries. Memories of cultural diversity among students, engagement and camaraderie are still fresh in my mind today and most of us are still very good friends from our class. The leadership techniques of Mr Burki and the IMI faculty lecturers were fascinating, and we learned new skills in Hotel Management every day. Plus the beauty of Switzerland, the taste of fondue and the wines from Valais were to die for!

I travelled to many neighbouring countries while at IMI, taking advantage of Switzerland’s central location in Europe. I was placed at Hilton Basel through IMI, which was the start of my career with Hilton. I then continued to work for Hilton Worldwide in five different countries for 18 long and very rewarding years. I have now returned to Cebu to strengthen Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu’s position as the leading business hotel in Cebu.
