* Students living on campus are required to take the Full Board options which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends and holidays.
Fee Explanations
Registration Fee
The registration fee is payable for every semester of study but reduces to CHF 3,000 CHF for returning students. The fee covers: registration documents, residence permit, airport pickup for new students, compulsory monthly health insurance premiums, federal taxes, wireless internet connection, extensive online and on-campus library resources, gym and other campus recreational facilities. In addition, on-campus ICT support is provided for all students as well as social assistance from the student counsellor.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee covers: all class materials and handouts, loan of core textbooks, teaching materials, any uniform requirements not covered in the Equipment Fee, access to IMI’s online learning resources, professional excursions, extensive academic guidance, guaranteed internship opportunities, the sourcing of placement opportunities in permanent positions for graduating students, personalised career coaching and on-campus recruitment, industry presentations and all examiner fees.
Equipment Fee
The equipment fee is specific to IMI’s culinary arts programmes and covers a full kitchen uniform and set of kitchen knives for each student as well as all food and additional culinary equipment costs for their practical classes.
