As a school that lives, breathes (and is most of the time thinking about) hospitality, we are always looking for new ways to promote the industry.

With our global network of industry contacts and alumni, as well as an international student body and faculty here on campus, we are in a unique position to bring together voices and opinions from a variety of stakeholders at different stages of their hospitality career journeys.

So, it is with great pleasure, that we introduce you to our brand new and exclusive IMI Switzerland podcast: The Hospitality Hub!

Ideal for tuning in to at any time of day - from the morning commute to the evening gym workout - podcasts are an increasingly popular audio format the can connect you with some of your favourite interests and hobbies in a flexible and convenient way.

In this very first episode, IMI Senior Lecturer Jonas Grip and a group of our culinary arts students enjoyed an exclusive Q&A session with Darren Teoh, founder of Malaysia's first ever two Michelin-starred restaurant Dewakan. (Due to some audio-quality issues, the students' questions have been voiced by a member of our Marketing team.)

We hope you enjoy the conversation and find Darren's insights and experiences from his culinary career to-date just as interesting and inspirational as our students did...

Episode 1 of The Hospitality Hub podcast

The Hospitality Hub can be accessed directly from the podcast website and will soon be available on all the major audio platforms.

Our Marketing and Academic teams have been busy brainstorming lots of exciting ideas for future episodes and we are excited to use the podcast to connect you with voices from our school's broad global network.

If you like what you hear, we would really appreciate it if you shared the pod with your friends, family, colleagues or anyone you know with an interest in this fascinating and rapidly-evolving industry.

We can't wait to bring you new episodes soon and hope you have as much fun listening to the episodes as we do producing them!
