It was great to welcome our new students on campus for the start of their May 2023 intake - the latest members of our hospitality school family....
Our second intake of 2023 saw new students arriving at IMI from Canada, Panama, Thailand and Saudi Arabia amongst others.
We always love to welcome our new students on campus and give them the famed IMI-welcome that is BIG Week.
In their first week on campus, all our new arrivals attend specially planned sessions that contains information about both our school and living in Switzerland, as well as lots of interactive events and activities to allow them to get to know each other better and experience that unique IMI family atmosphere.
Our May arrivals had a great time discovering their new home and study environment, and particularly enjoyed the BIG City Treasure Hunt where they were set a series of challenges to carry out around the city of Luzern.
It was great to see them settle in to their new home over the course of the BIG Week and, by the time Friday came around, it felt as if they had been with us for weeks rather than days.
All the new students are now well into their study semesters and have had the chance to get to know our returning students as well as discover even more of Switzerland during weekend trips and excursions.
We can't wait to see they progress over the course of the term and it will seem like no time has passed before they start to go off for their first internship placements both here in Switzerland and across the globe.
