Scholarships

As a private institution, IMI does not provide any full scholarships and students are expected to be in a position to finance their own studies in Switzerland, especially as this will be a requirement by the Swiss immigration authorities for the study visa application.

However, we have a number of initiatives that are linked to IMI's admissions strategy, which aim to assist motivated people to study at our institution. For more information about any of the initiatives listed below, please contact us at info@imi-luzern.com and one of our Admissions Officers will contact you for a personal consultation to discuss your situation and guide you accordingly.

Scholarship on fees

Periodically, we offer some part-scholarships to certain applicants. These partial scholarships are offered as a reduction on the tuition fees. There are no scholarships on offer on the registration fee or prices for accommodation and meals. Currently, we have the following special offers in place:

  • Swiss nationals or C permit holders may be eligible for a reduction of tuition fees on each academic semester at IMI.
  • Permanent residence B permit holders in Switzerland may be eligible for a reduction on tuition fees on each academic semester of study.
  • As we aim to maintain out our varied nationality mix on campus, periodically we may offer partial scholarships to nationals of certain countries. As this list changes regularly and there are a limited number of such part-scholarships on offer, requests for these part-scholarships will only be examined upon receipt of a full and complete application and a formal request for consideration for a part-scholarship.
