IMI Switzerland moved up four places in the 2024 QS World University Rankings for Hospitality and Leisure Management to return to the top-20 worldwide.
As one of the smaller institutes in the rankings, to be ranked 17th globally is a tremendous testament to the outstanding academic, careers and student experience services offered by our school.
This new position makes us the top-ranked hospitality school in the German speaking part of Switzerland and confirms us as the best choice for students looking to study hospitality management, business or culinary arts in this region.

The rankings are based on a comprehensive survey conducted by QS Top Universities each year, which is sent out to academics, industry employers and other stakeholders in the field of further education and training.
Amongst various indicators, academic and employer reputation are two of the key factors considered and we were pleased to see that, once again, IMI scored particularly highly when it came to employer feedback.
We are rightly proud of our ability to produce confident, friendly and industry-ready graduates year on year, and this is as a result of the warm and supportive family-like environment they experience during their time at IMI.
To see this validated in the ranking's feedback is extremely pleasing and positively affirms our school's ethos of offering personal academic and career support for each of our students.
