IMI students in Ad campaign

A group of our Certificate students were invited to appear in a video advertisement for the Swiss Transport Museum...

Effective marketing and advertising is as crucial to hospitality as to any other industry.

It was therefore very exciting when a group of our students got to appear in their very own advertising campaign for a leading Swiss tourist destination.

The Swiss Transport Museum (or Verkehrshaus) is one of Luzern’s best known visitor attractions, welcoming thousands of guests per year from all over the globe.

To help launch one of their new attractions, the ‘Swiss Chocolate Adventure’, they invited our Certificate students to come and appear in the video advertisement.  

The experience, which details the history of the rich Swiss tradition of chocolate manufacture as well as the logistics of cocoa bean import and distribution (it is a transport museum after all!) is delivered in a multimedia themed world employing some of the latest in technology.

As well as being a fantastic day out for our students, it also allowed them to see behind-the-scenes of a major advertising campaign and the hours of work involved in producing a few minutes of video advertising.

A big thank you to the Swiss Transport Museum for involving our students in this project and we wish them well with their new visitor attraction.
