IMI signs MoA with GCCA

10 April 2017

As part of his visit to Malaysia, IMI's Director of Partner Schools Professor Caldwell signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Golden Chef College of Culinary Arts...

The field of culinary arts has gained increasingly popularity over the last few years as our appreciation of flavour, ingredients and restaurant experience increases.

At IMI, our degree in International Culinary Arts offers students a blend of management and practical skills that spans many cultures.

For this reason, we like to ensure our students come from a variety of nationalities and backgrounds so that they can all share their unique food cultures.

While on a recent visit to Malaysia, IMI's Professor Gavin Caldwell extended our network of international partner schools by signing an memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Golden Chef College of Culinary Arts (GCCA) in Penang.

GCCA was founded in 2011 and specialises in culinary and pastry professional training, with influences from both eastern and western culinary traditions.

Professor Caldwell signed the agreement with brothers and join Managing Directors Vincent and Kalven Lee.

We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to working with our new Malaysian colleagues...
