Europa-Park Trip

25 April 2017

Our students enjoyed a visit to Europe's second largest theme park situated in Rust, Germany...

One of the great things about being situated in Switzerland is the easy access to so many other European countries.

Students can travel to France, Germany, Italy and Austria all in less than two hours from Zurich.

It is perhaps appropriate then, that every semester we take our students to Europa-Park - Europe's second largest theme park.

As its name implies, Europa-Park celebrates the diversity and culture of the continent with different themed areas and restaurants based on different countries.

The park attracts over 5 millions visitors per year and is one of Europe’s most popular tourist destination spots.

The trip always proves highly popular with our students who spend the day riding on the 13 roller coasters available as well as enjoying the other stalls, shows and entertainment provided.

It is, therefore, not that surprising that we have a coach load of sleeping students on our way back to Switzerland…

Many thanks to IMI’s Head of Student Services Mr. Pinkston and our Social Representative Committee for organising another successful trip!
