International Night

03 July 2017

We held another highly successful International Night full of delicious foods and entertaining performances...

Our International Night is one of the most eagerly anticipated dates on the IMI social calendar...

Showcasing the best of our international student body's food and drink cultures and performance skills, the evenings are a real celebration of the diversity we have in the IMI family.

This most recent International Night was extra special as we were able to welcome 40 staff and student guests from our Malaysian partner school KDU University College Penang.

We always recommend that our guests turn up hungry, and with food stalls from Vietnam, Korea and Malaysia among many others, there was more than enough delicious international cuisine to keep people happy.

It was also a real pleasure for us to welcome back not one, but seven different alumni from countries as diverse as Germany, Thailand and El Salvador to the event.

The highlight of these evenings are very often the student performances, and this International Night was no exception with our audience enjoying a piano recital from Vietnam, dancing from Indonesia, comedy from Malaysia and a special Korean rap finale from one of our guest KDU students.

We are always impressed at the great efforts our students go to, to prepare, cook, rehearse and host these evenings, and we would like to thank all the volunteers who made this International Night another memorable success!

You can see live performances from the evening on our Facebook channel.
