Ambassador Visit

02 May 2018

It was our pleasure to welcome His Excellency Muliaman Hadad, the Indonesian Ambassador to Switzerland, to the IMI campus...

As a school that welcomes a majority of international students each term, it is important to us to forge strong global relationships.

As well as travelling regularly to visit partners and agents in different countries, we are also delighted to be able to welcome many important dignitaries onto our campus each year.

It was a great honour for us to welcome Indonesia’s ambassador to Switzerland H.E. Muliaman Hadad to Kastanienbaum to visit our school facilities.

Formerly a Professor of Economics and Business at the University of Diponegoro, the Ambassador arrived in Bern this year to take up his position at the Indonesian Embassy and to continue to build the strong economic and cultural connections between the two countries.

During his visit to campus, he discussed a number of collaboration projects to promote the growth of tourism and hospitality education within Indonesia.

We thank the Ambassador for taking the time to visit us and look forward to further strengthening the already strong working relationship between our institution and the embassy.

H.E. Muliaman Hadad is pictured below with IMI Directors Mr. Heinz Bürki, Ms. Isabelle Bürki and Mr. Ferry Firmansyah as well as IMI’s Indonesian partners Mr. Rachmat Solahuddin and Mr. Budiman Wiriakusumah.
