A Royal Celebration

17 June 2019

It was a great honour for our students to volunteer at Queen Elizabeth II's birthday celebrations, held at the Ambassador's residence in Bern...

Planning a birthday party is a big deal at the best of times, but when the party is for the Queen of England it goes to the next level!

As one of the official sponsors of the celebration which took place at the British Ambassador's residence in Bern, IMI was very happy to provide student volunteers to help service the event.

With around 600 guests invited and a variety of food and drink stations as well as musical entertainment, the event was a huge logistical operation and one of the biggest that many of our students had ever been involved in.

We are very pleased to report that each and every volunteer provided exceptional hospitality, with guests commenting on the friendliness of the students and their willingness to help in any situation.

With many dignitaries from the UK, Switzerland and neighbouring countries in attendance, it truly was VIP service for VIP guests and hospitality that, dare we say it, was fit for a Queen!
