Weekend Rides

16 October 2019

Once a semester, we take our students off to Europa Park to enjoy the thrills and spills of Germany's largest theme park...

Hospitality study can be intense! (When it's coming close to dissertation deadline - very intense!)

That's why we always encourage our students to take a balanced view to their study and ensure they get enough down-time to keep them engaged, healthy and energised!

One of the most popular excursions of the year is our regular visit to Germany's Europa Park, a vast theme-park offering many different themed rides, restaurants and attractions.

The trip is a great way for students to relax and un-wind away from the campus while also enjoying some adrenaline-pumping rides or, for those after a more relaxing experience, sampling the many different cafés and restaurants situated in the park.

As ever, our SRC team took the lead in organising the event and ensuring all our students got their and back safety. Even though it was October, we were very lucky to have a sunny day for the trip and students returned exhilarated (if a little exhausted) that evening.

For both study as well as everyday life, a balance of recreation and relaxation is important and the Europa Park trip provides a great opportunity for our students to unwind and rejuvenate!
