Sports Day

25 November 2019

An IMI degree involves hard work and intense study! Sometimes, it's important for our students to be able to let off a bit of steam...

A degree is the end result of studying at IMI, but the student experience extends much further than just the classroom.

Throughout each semester, we provide a range of sporting, cultural and fun activities to keep our students entertained and to ensure that the degree study does not become too all-consuming.

We are a big believer in ‘healthy mind, healthy body’ and our semester Sports Day event allows students to take part in some friendly competition in a variety of sports and games.

Participating in events including badminton, basketball, football, pool and table tennis, we got to see the competitive side of our students as the brought a real application and determination to their chosen events. (Skills that are also pretty useful in the classroom.)

Working together, they also learnt the value of team-work and communication when it comes to achieving shared goals and targets.

The weekend was great fun and we would like to offer a big thanks to our SRC team, without whom the event could not have taken place!
