Triple Crown for Manchester Met.

09 January 2020

The business school of IMI validating partner Manchester Metropolitan University recently secured a prestigious "triple crown" of academic accreditations...

IMI has a long-standing relationship with Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester Met.) which dates back as far as 1995.

With one of the leading hospitality and business faculties within the UK, Manchester Met. is the validating partner for both our hospitality and business management degrees, meaning students on these programmes receive both an IMI and a UK qualification on graduation.

We were, therefore, delighted to hear that Manchester Met’s Business School recently achieved the EQUIS accreditation, meaning they now hold the “triple crown” of accreditations along with the AACSB and AMBA awards.

This places the school within an elite group worldwide to hold the three accreditation awards and further emphasises their position as one of the world’s leading business educators.

Having only last year gone through a thorough audit process with Manchester Met. to secure their validation for our Global Business and Global Marketing Management BA (Hons) awards, it is great to see this recognition for their Business School.

The standards of excellence set by our validating partners can only enhance the value of our degree awards and give our students great confidence in the quality of the education they receive from us.

We would like to congratulate Manchester Met. Business School on this fantastic achievement and we look forward to many more years of productive collaboration with them.
