Manchester Met. MBA visit

14 March 2016

At IMI, we have always been proud of providing Swiss hospitality expertise alongside qualifications that offer UK academic excellence.

One of our key validating partners for our hospitality degrees is Manchester Metropolitan University (Manchester Met.) and we were delighted to welcome a group of their MBA students to our campus last week.

The purpose of the visit was for the Manchester Met. and IMI MBA students to exchange thoughts and ideas about the industry generally as well as their specific research areas of interest.

This was a great opportunity for students from different nationalities, cultures and learning environments to come together and promote a mutual broadening of perspective and insight.

As well as their involvement in the academic sessions, our Manchester Met. guests were also given the opportunity to experience our Swiss environment with a Luzern city tour and an Eichof Beer factory visit forming part of their week.

The week proved both enjoyable and profitable for both sets of students and we look forward to organising further study exchange visits in future.
