Coronavirus Update

02 December 2020

Current situation update from IMI International Management Institute...

Our November intake started successfully, with all new and returning students receiving their visas and able to fly into Switzerland. Upon arrival, students were placed into self-isolation until they were tested for Covid-19.

In fact, IMI organised Covid-19 tests for all incoming students on three separate days and we are pleased to inform you that all students tested negative. IMI remains committed to ensuring that Kastanienbaum campus and IMI Mattenhof Apartments remain a safe place for students and staff alike. We currently have no reported cases of Covid-19 on campus.

Academic Update

For the start of term 20D, teaching progresses in the same way as the end of term 20C. This means that the lectures are delivered online through TEAMS, but practical classes, tutorials and assessments are delivered physically as normal.

In view of the fact that there is a downward trend in the number of Covid-19 infections in Switzerland, the situation is subject to change at short notice, so please keep a look out for our official updates.

Reminder - Guidelines about travel

We have reinforced our message of caution to the student body and staff that the travel guidelines circulated previously are observed diligently. Disciplinary action will be taken should a student not follow the travel guidelines, as this could endanger the wellbeing of other students and staff on campus.
