Coronavirus Update

17 December 2020

Current situation update from IMI International Management Institute...

As we approach the Christmas Break, IMI remains committed to ensuring that the Kastanienbaum campus and IMI Mattenhof Apartments remain a safe place for students and staff alike. We currently have no reported cases of Covid-19 on campus.

Academic Update

The Christmas Break is from Wed 23rd December 2020 until Sun 2nd January 2021, during which time there are no classes. Accommodation and meals will continue to be provided for students. Meals during the break will be served at the Brunch and Dinner timings.

Reminder - Guidelines about travel

The Swiss quarantine list changed effective 14th December – please be sure to refer to this list as it changes every 10 to 15 days. If you are planning to travel to another country, please also make sure you research the quarantine and Covid-19 test regulations in that country before leaving.

Any student leaving IMI accommodation for more than one night MUST produce evidence of travel reservations. Exact dates of the absence are required for fire and safety reasons on campus, as well as risk management documentation. Upon return to IMI campus, students must commit to following the IMI processes as indicated in the travel guidelines of 2nd December 2020.

Disciplinary action will be taken should a student not follow the travel guidelines, as this could endanger the wellbeing of other students and staff on campus.

Student Events

A number of events continue to be organised on campus, for students' benefit and enjoyment. These activities are following all Covid-19 preventative measures and regulations.
