Coronavirus Update

Current situation update from IMI International Management Institute...

As of Monday 27th September, a new IMI Protection Concept has come into force on the IMI campus, aiming to restore some normality to campus life while, at the same time, ensuring the health and safety of all students.

The following are the key changes to our campus regulations:

  • IMI restricts campus access to people with a valid COVID certificate. This means that all students and staff are either:
    - Fully vaccinated against Covid-19; or
    - In possession of a Covid-19 recovery certificate; or
    - Getting an internal saliva test at IMI twice a week

  • The wearing of face masks and social distance requirements are no longer enforced on campus; however, we still recommend taking precautions and maintaining hygiene standards.

  • For those who need to take the twice-weekly internal saliva tests, the test kits are made available from the IMI Reception on Mondays and Thursdays each week. Tests should be handed in by 14:00 with results communicated the following morning.

  • All other staff and students are encouraged to participate in the free saliva tests on a voluntary basis.

We continue to encourage all individuals on campus to be vigilant and contact the IMI Reception immediately via MS TEAMS if they feel unwell or develop typical Covid-19 symptoms.

It is hoped that the above measures will be the first steps on a return to a more normal campus environment for our students but, of course, student well-being and safety will always be our number one priority.

Should you have any questions about these new regulations, please feel free to contact Mrs. Greta Frey at info@imi-luzern.com.
