Coronavirus Update

12 November 2021

Current situation update from IMI International Management Institute...

As we prepare to welcome new and returning students for our November intake, we are pleased to report that there have still been no reported cases of Covid-19 on campus.

However, with students arriving from all different parts of the world, we are introducing a temporary tightening of measures in order to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

These measures are:

  • Mask requirement - masks must be worn on campus (where social distancing cannot be ensured).
  • Mandatory testing - all students arriving on campus will be required to test during the first week of term.

The two extra precautions will support our on-going certificate requirement on campus and twice-weekly saliva tests for all those not vaccinated (which are available for all who wish to participate).

We hope that the mask requirement will only be necessary for the first week of term and, if the test results allow, we will close our "campus bubble" again as soon as possible to allow students to enjoy the best possible experience here with us.

All the above steps are taken with student health and safety as our first priority and we thank our campus community for their continued efforts to ensure the well-being of all.

For students, please continue to be vigilant and contact Reception IMI immediately on MS TEAMS if you feel unwell or develop typical Covid-19 symptoms.
