MoA with Servo Hospitality School

18 May 2022

We were delighted to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with India's Servo Hospitality School...

With many students from India arriving at IMI each year, we have long-held strong links with individuals and organisations in the country.

It was our great pleasure to further strengthen this connection through the signing of an MoA with Dehradun-based institute Servo Hospitality School (SHS).

The agreement will allow for SHS students to transfer directly onto either IMI’s Higher Diploma or BA (Hons) semester in hospitality management as well as opening the possibility of academic exchange and visits between our two schools.

Located in the north of India, SHS offers a range of degree and short-course programmes in hospitality, tourism and culinary. With strong industry connections in the region, they provide practical training opportunities for their students at the Hotel Ramada.

Founded by a brother and sister team, both themselves graduates of European hospitality schools, SHS shares IMI’s values of individual care and attention for each student alongside a supportive and progressive learning environment with a strong focus on future career development.

Commenting on the signing of the MoA, Servo co-founder and Managing Director Surbhi Ghai said: “With its partnership with IMI, Servo Hospitality School has transcended another milestone towards becoming a key training partner in the international education consortium and setting up a truly global institute.

“IMI’s values of academic excellence and distinction in enriching the competencies of students will provide an invaluable pathway for our students towards building a global career.”

As we know look forward to the arrival of the first Servo transfer students to the IMI campus, we are very excited to begin this new academic collaboration and look forward to seeing it develop over the coming years.
