ZAGG Visit

25 October 2016

Our students visited the Zagg fair in Luzern which showcases the best of central Swiss hospitality and gastronomy...

We always like to keep our students as up-to-date as possible with the latest industry developments...

So, as well as numerous guest lectures on campus from industry professionals, we also like to take students out to a variety of trade shows and industry events.

The ZAGG fair, held here in Luzern, celebrates the best of central Swiss hospitality and gastronomy products and innovations.

Featuring local produce and cuisine, innovative new production methods and machines and its very own culinary competition, the event was a great opportunity for our students to get an insight into the current state of the industry.

By speaking to local food producers, chefs and hospitality professionals, they were able to get advice and tips which should benefit them in their future careers.

At IMI, teaching is not just contained to the classroom and the ZAGG visit was a great way to broaden our students’ professional perspectives...
