Short CoursesSummer Programme
The 2020A term presented some significant challenges to IMI as the impact of the Covid-19 virus meant we had to change the ways we teach, live and travel.
At all times, our number one priority was the health and safety of our students and staff and we were quick to implement new rules and regulations on campus and switch to online teaching.
By limiting the number of students in the Main Dining Hall at meal times, providing anti-bacterial gels across campus and constantly updating students on the latest advice and guidelines, we were able to ensure their safety while at the same time retaining some semblance of normality for them.
The rapid implementation of digital classes via Microsoft Teams meant that our 2019D and 2020A students were able to continue their studies uninterrupted and successfully complete their semester.
This has also allowed us to welcome our 2020B May intake with many students attending classes digitally until the time when they are able to travel to Switzerland.
Although we would much prefer to welcome all our new students in person on campus, we recognise that these steps are necessary and are pleased that the academic side of their IMI experience can continue as planned.
We are already preparing for our future intakes and are currently receiving applications for our busy August and November 2020 semesters.
If you would like to apply for either the August or November intakes, you can apply here.
