Managing successful partner school relationships around the world relies on mutual trust and a commitment on both sides to guarantee the highest standards of education.
With a responsibility at all times to students, regular audits are a great way to maintain regular communication and ensure that academic quality and student experience is maintained.
IMI had a unique relationship with TAR UC in Malaysia, where there students can complete their Manchester Met. validated degree with us here in Switzerland before returning to TAR UC and using their transfer credits to complete their degree in Malaysia as well.
This means students who successfully meet all the academic requirements will receive three degree awards from the UK, Switzerland and Malaysia, enhancing their CV and offering outstanding academic value.
We are pleased to report that we recently successfully completed an ‘e-audit’ with TAR UC as part of this transfer agreement between our two schools.
Normally, we would have looked forward to welcoming representatives from the university to Switzerland; however, due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the audit was completed digitally with both parties impressed with the smooth transition of the process online.
Of course, we look forward to the time when we are able to visit our partner schools in person and, in turn, welcome them to our Kastanienbaum home, but, in the meantime, the e-audit experience is a great example of using resourcefulness and technology to ensure business can go on as usual.
