Spring into Switzerland...

12 May 2017

For our 2017B BIG Week we had a "Spring into Switzerland" theme, celebrating the vibrancy and new life of this season...

The Spring season is normally associated with growth and new life.

This is why we felt it would make a particularly good theme for our 2017B BIG Week, to celebrate the arrival of our new students.

Every BIG Week we hold a series of activities and ice-breaking events to help our new intake feel comfortable and at home in their new surroundings.

This BIG Week events included a Spring hike in the Swiss countryside, a muffin baking competition and a Swiss wine tasting evening.

To close the week in style we held a special BBQ lunch and were lucky to be able to eat in the fresh, Swiss sunshine.

In addition to the social events, our students also received many induction sessions explaining everything from how the class timetables work to the grooming standards expected at a hospitality school.

Many thanks to the staff and students involved in the planning of the BIG Week and we wish all our new students a great start to their life at IMI!
