Our Culinary team grows...

13 May 2016

We are delighted to announce the appointment of chef Stefan Köhler who joins our culinary team for term 2016B...

As our International Culinary Arts programmes start to grow in popularity we decided the time was right to expand our teaching team.

We are therefore delighted to welcome Chef Stefan Köhler to our culinary staff who will primarily teach the production classes on the programme.

Chef Köhler, originally from Germany, comes to us with vast experience having worked for over 10 years in the industry.

Working for companies such as Viking Cruises and Kempinski Hotel Group, he is well used to operating within international environments and brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to share with our students.

Chef Köhler's appointment has allowed us to restructure our culinary classes slightly, with Senior Culinary Lecturer Anthony Caine now focusing on specific skills classes in the afternoons whilst Chef Köhler manages the production classes and o ur Swiss Room Restaurant.

We are confident this new-look team and structure will enhance the learning of our culinary students and give them a broader and more balanced education.

We wish Chef Köhler all the best in his new role and are looking forward to tasting the results of his work with our students...
