Ambassadors' Visit

24 June 2019

It was a pleasure to welcome student ambassadors from some of our many international partner schools for a week at IMI...

It is always a delight for us to meet international students studying at our various partner schools around the world.

Our regular Student Ambassadors Week allows a group of students, representing their schools, to spend a week on campus with us, attending classes and having some unique Swiss experiences.

For our June SAP Week, we welcomed students from partner schools Burapha University Thailand, ISLA Gaia Portugal, NZMA University New Zealand, Woosong University Korea, The Sydney Business and Travel Academy Australia, ITIS Malta and Seneca College Canada.

As well as attending regular classes and seminars with their Swiss counterparts, our guests were also treated to a city tour of Luzern with the IMI students representatives as well as a hike in the local Kastanienbaum countryside.

Later in the week, we took them on an excursion to Luzern’s Swiss Transport Museum where they enjoyed the interactive, virtual reality exhibitions at the site’s Media World as well as discovering more about one of Switzerland’s best known exports during the Swiss Chocolate Experience ride (complete with tasting samples).

This action-packed week flew by and we rounded it off in style on the Friday by hosting a certificate ceremony before the students could relax and unwind at a Cheese and Wine tasting session.

All the students were a credit to their respective schools and acted as true ambassadors throughout the week – we would be very happy to welcome any of them back in the near future and wish them the best of luck in their future studies!
