At the moment, there is no obligation to be vaccinated in Switzerland.
However, IMI students with a valid B permit are able to register to be vaccinated here in Switzerland via the following website https://lu.impfung-covid.ch/. Vaccinations currently approved for use in Switzerland are Pfizer Biontech and Moderna.
Students whose health insurance is organised through IMI should tick the box labelled Foreign insurance vlaid in Switzerland and should not enter their health insurance card number. To be able to register, studnets require a Swiss mobile number.
Before going to their vaccine appointment, students must collect a supporting document from the IMI Reception and must then take that along with their B permit and health insurance card to the appointment. The cost of the Covid-19 vaccination is covered by the Swiss Federal Government.
In addition, up to five self-tests are available every 30 days from Swiss pharmacies free of charge. The cost for rapid tests requested by individuals, regardless of whether you have symptoms, are also covered by the Swiss Federal Government.
Should you have any queries regarding the above, please contact the IMI Reception For more information or consult the information provided by the Swiss Federal Government here.
