Sporting Fun at IMI

05 October 2021

It was great to see some friendly competition at our most recent Sports Day, where students took part in a range of games and activities...

It was more active fun at IMI recently as we held our regular semester outdoor Sports Day.

Students enjoyed competing at football, basketball, volleyball and badminton at the sports facilities just a short walk from the IMI campus.

At IMI, we believe strongly in providing our students with a healthy balance between work and extra-curricular activities.

This is why we organise as many events as possible over the weekends during term time to ensure that, following a hard-working Monday to Friday, they have the chance to unwind, exercise and, most importantly, have fun.

We are always impressed with the enthusiasm and engagement displayed by the students and this Sports Day was no exception with high participation rates and intense (but always friendly) competition.

A special mention must go to the Social Representative Committee (SRC) who played an important role in helping to organise the events and oversee them on the day.

Reflecting on the Sports Day, SRC President Christopher Kevin said: "I'm so glad that we could host such an amazing and fun day for all the students.

"After a long hard situation, we were able to play and compete together and the main goal of this event was to bring more connection between students which we definitely achieved!"

It was fantastic to see students enjoying the event and we look forward to creating many more shared memories together over the remainder of the term.
