IMI was delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Qatar Foundation’s Academic Bridge Program (the ABP).

The intention of the MoU is to strengthen our school's connection with Qatari education providers and offer an international study transfer pathway to their students.

The ABP was launched in 2001 by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. It is a premier pre-university programme established for high school graduates from Qatar and other countries in the region.

Under this agreement, successful ABP graduates who meet IMI’s specified enrolment criteria, can be considered for direct entry onto the school’s UK-validated undergraduate degree programmes.

Commenting on the signing of the MoU, IMI’s Director of Partner Schools Prof. Gavin Caldwell said: “We are very pleased and excited for this new collaboration with ABP in Qatar.

“This partnership presents ABP students with an excellent gateway for international studies and experiences as well as rewarding placements within the hospitality industry.

“Both ABP and IMI are committed to the long-term establishment of excellence in student education and the development of future hospitality and business professionals.”

This expansion of their global partner networks is something that both institutions are very excited about. We now look forward to working closely together to enable ABP students to experience hospitality education in its birthplace of Switzerland.
