Short CoursesSummer Programme
As we progress into the last week of the current term, the focus is not only on seeing our November 2019 intake students reach a successful end to their academic semester, but also to look forward positively, since things are definitely improving, according to the latest statistics. In fact, the authorities’ decision is to start easing the coronavirus lockdown in Switzerland from 27th April 2020. This is good news for us in Switzerland, where the social-distancing, hygiene and other recommendations from the Swiss Federal Government, seem to be producing the desired results.
For the students studying in the May 2020 intake, whether it is as a new, continuing or returning student, here are the important dates you need to be aware of for your academic semester:
For the students on internship in Switzerland or overseas, please note that the hotel, events, tourism and restaurant sectors remain heavily impacted by Covid-19 restrictions. There is no clear indication yet on when these will be able to return to normal.
IMI remains operational and committed to the well-being of students and staff alike. We are pleased by the overall behavior and attitude of students as well as the smooth transition we have experienced to a successful, online teaching mode, whilst still meeting the learning outcomes for the programme.
IMI continues to strive to ensure that no student gets left behind and that the original timelines for study are maintained.
If you are unsure about your status or your options at this stage, please contact Mrs Greta Frey on email@example.com or Mobile/WhatsApp +41 78 704 4129 for guidance and support.
